Circus Stories in Graz from
20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026.

Cirque Noël Graz showcases contemporary circus at the highest level around the turn of the year. From 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, two of the world’s most renowned companies — FLIP Fabrique from Québec, Canada, and Circa Circa from Brisbane, Australia — will perform at the Orpheum Graz.

IN SITU PLATFORM | Open Call #2

At the beginning of this year we received wonderful news:
The international network IN SITU – European Platform for Artistic Creation in Public Space – co-founded by La Strada Graz in 2003 – will continue its journey in 2025 and has once again been granted funding from the Creative Europe Programme of the European Commission for the next four years. On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, IN SITU is placing the spotlight on the platform itself under the title „PLATFORM 2025-2028“: under the leadership of the creation center Lieux Publics the four-year programme will support 200 emerging artists working in public space and unconventional venues across Europe. We are proud to continue shaping the future of art in public space together with our Partners.

We are now delighted to announce the project’s second open call:
In the second funding cycle, IN SITU will once again select 60 emerging artists and invite them to develop their own artistic projects on a European level. 

Are you already working on an artistic project for or with public space, or do you have a concrete vision for your a project?
Then IN SITU warmly welcomes your application by 18 December 2025!

We were driven by the passion to bring art to the people very early on. We have always been interested in those artistic works that deal with the place and its inhabitants. For the desire to discover new perspectives, to explore the great themes of our time and the unbroken joy in the search for contemporary forms of artistic expression drive us as much as ever.

La Strada Graz is a cross-disciplinary festival, embracing the rich diversity of artistic forms and formats. It serves as a space for experimentation, both on stage and in public spaces, as well as in other uniquely chosen venues.
